During the night of Monday, May 23rd, unknown person or persons stole a generator from the back of a pickup truck parked at its owners' residence in the 4200 block of Morton St. The generator was a blue Yamaha 3000, weighing approximately 300 pounds. The generator is valued at $2500. The generator was chained up and locked in the box of the pickup truck. The thieves used bolt cutters to defeat the locking device.
