Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving the following crimes:
The Church of Latter Day Saints, located in the 4800 block of Compton Rd, has been the victim of three break and enters in the past month.
Sometime between the late evening of Wednesday January 17th and the morning of Friday January 19th, a side entry door of the church was pried open to gain entry into the building. Once inside, the unknown suspect or suspects pried opened several interior doors throughout building, including into the library. The suspects stole a projector and laptop computer.
Sometime between 2 pm on Sunday February 11th and 8 am on Tuesday February 13th, the church was again targeted by thieves. The suspect or suspects pried at a door frame to gain entry. Once inside, the suspect or suspects attempted to open several locked doors, tampered with locked filing cabinets and stole some computers and related equipment as well as some other electronic items.
Sometime between 3 pm and 7:30 pm on Sunday February 18th, an unknown suspect or suspect entered the church. It appears that the suspect or suspects in this instance were scared off by the return of a staff member. Letters were graffittied in black felt pen on the exterior brick next to the rear entrance door.
