Lawful owners sought for recovered property
The Port Alberni RCMP have recovered several bicycles as well as a stand-up paddle board and are looking the rightful owners of this property.
On Tuesday August 21st, police were informed of a found inflatable stand up paddle board (SUP). The SUP had been stashed in some bushes in the 6100 block of River Rd for several days.
On Wednesday August 22nd, police recovered 6 bicycles, a bicycle frame as well as a moped in the course of an unrelated investigation in the 2800 block of 6th Ave. The moped and one bicycle have been returned to their rightful owners, as they had previously been reported as stolen.
Police would like to reunite the remaining recovered property with their lawful owners. Anyone who has lost or had stolen a bicycle or an inflatable SUP and has not yet reported it to police, is asked to contact the Port Alberni RCMP at 250-723-2424 to report the loss.
