Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving the following crimes:
Sometime between Friday Aug.10th and the morning of Tuesday Aug. 14th, an unknown person or persons broke into a truck parked in the boat trailer parking area along Beaver Creek Rd.
The dark blue Ford F350 pickup truck with Washington state license plates was parked in the Clutesi Marina overflow parking area on Beaver Creek Rd for 4 days. The truck had been locked, was equipped with a white 1990’s model Northland RV camper and a fishing boat trailer was attached. The suspect or suspects broke into the truck through the passenger side door latch, damaged the ignition to start the vehicle and drove away.
The truck alone was recovered on Tuesday Aug. 14th in a parking lot near 4th Ave and Angus St. The RV camper had been removed. The boat trailer was seen on Tuesday morning on Woodward Rd near McCoy Lake Rd. It had been dropped off there sometime overnight on the Monday however it was removed from the area prior to police arrival and it has not been recovered.
The suspect or suspects tried to steal another F350 sometime between Monday Aug. 13th and the early afternoon of Wednesday Aug. 15th. This time the suspect or suspects tried to steal a dark grey Ford F350 pickup truck which had been parked near Clutesi Marina in the 5100 block of River Rd.
They again broke into the truck through the passenger side door latch and the ignition was tampered with. However, the suspect or suspects were unsuccessful in their attempt to start the vehicle and it was abandoned.
