Taylor Arm/Sproat Lake

Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving the following crime:

Wildfires in BC cost tax payers millions of dollars a year and threaten our forests and communities.

In the evening hours of August 11th 2018, an illegal fire was reported burning near Taylor Arm, in the hills adjacent to the Sproat Lake lookout hiking trails.

A blue side-by-side, off road, recreational vehicle was seen leaving the area with a male and a female occupants. The vehicle exited the forest and crossed the Pacific Rim Highway 4 in order to access Lake Shore Road. The male occupant was wearing camo shorts, sandals, a beige baseball hat, and a black “lucky lager” hoodie. The female was wearing black pants and a pink hoodie. The vehicle and occupants are believed to reside in the Sproat Lake area.
